Do you have any detail on how the IR transmission changes as the temperature of sapphire heats up from ambient to 1500°C?

I think nobody made such transmission spectra by 1500 C, it's not possible.

But after annealing at 1500°C the transmission spectra will be not change if the crystal had a small value of defects (vacancies and other). If the crystal had a lot of defects, the transmission can be better after 1500°C treatment.
